The scholarship

One award, every year, for a student who pursues their goals the way Scott did.

Every gift to this Fund — whether money, time, or talent — is an investment in a future leader, and in keeping a thirteen-year-old's memory vibrant.

Checks go straight to the school — and to the student.

Awards issued by the Fund support students pursuing their higher education goals. To comply with IRS regulations, checks are made out jointly to the college or university and to the student. Recipients may use the money for tuition, books, room and board, or required fees — sports equipment included.

The award amount is based on the value of the underlying endowment, which grows only through donor support. The Fund is entirely donor-driven: there is no paid staff, and 100% of every donation goes toward scholarships.

There is a great feeling of fulfillment that comes from knowing you have done your very best for the causes you care about.
